We know Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain is Real.
We know it hurts and this site is here to help and provide hope!
Fibro Patient Education and Support is the only organization of its kind in the Chicago metro area devoted exclusively to spreading awareness of Fibromyalgia and providing education via cable television.
Our flagship program is, Fibromyalgia Talks, on Public Access Channel 4 in Vernon Hills, IL, and Channel 99 on AT&T U-verse.
Public access is a free service provided by Comcast. Over 1 million households in the greater Chicago marketplace receive public access as a part of their basic cable package.
At Fibro Patient Education and Support, we are focused on providing programs that educate patients and caregivers about Fibromyalgia, including causes, symptoms, treatments, and how it interacts with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Myofascial Pain Syndrome, migraine, insomnia, multiple chemical sensitivity and Gulf War Syndrome. Also known as Gulf War Illness (GWI), this chronic, multi-symptom disorder affects returning military workers of the Gulf War. Symptoms often include fatigue, muscle pain, cognitive problems and other physical complaints.
With a large variety of offerings to choose from, we’re sure you’ll be happy working with us. Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.
